  • Following surgery, you will be in one of our comfortable recovery areas.  Your family may join you once you are in a private room.  You must have a responsible adult (age 18 or older) to drive you home and stay with you overnight or longer, depending on your type of surgery and anesthesia.  You may not drive yourself home, or travel alone by bus, taxi or any other mode of transportation.  Upon discharge, all pediatric patients must be secured in a child protective seat according to state law.

  • Overnight Recovery Care (ORC) is available on the second floor of the Surgery Center if your surgeon determines this service is medically necessary.  After hours parking for ORC visitors is located in the patient discharge area behind the Surgery Center.  Use the access code given by your surgeon’s office or our Surgery Center staff to enter the parking area.
